A letter to the New England Journal of Medicine details two dramatic, but potentially cautionary tales about Tysabri. A 46-year-old woman with MS received her first dose of Tysabri; thereafter her melanoma spreads like wildfire. A 45-year-old woman with MS developed melanoma in her retina after receiving several doses of Tysabri.



It is especially interesting to note that until the 1930's, cannabis based medicines were dominant in the U.S. and abroad. It took a couple of well backed American businesses, one staunch politician, and a media group to cast a spell on marijuana use through the press and one memorable movie that was extremely effective called "Reefer Madness."

Students of alternative medicine schools will begin to understand that alternative medicine is considered a practice beyond the realm of conventional modern medicine.
